Support and resistance: use them without treating them as certainties

A level is a decision zone

Mark areas where price has previously caused a visible reaction, then decide what you will wait for if price returns. A level is not a buy or sell order; it is an area to observe.

Look for readable confirmation

A close, rejection or structural shift can provide context. Entering simply because price touches a line ignores how it reached that area.

Plan invalidation

If the expected reaction does not appear, the position should not be defended by hope. Define in advance what invalidates the idea.
